The registrar's website has all of these dates under "sessional dates", in case you need it in the future.

mid terms before reading week ???
I need to book a flight home for reading week. I was hoping to leave the thursday night and would miss chem and physics. Is there a possiblilty that there may be midterms just before reading week??

It's definitely possible. I would wait till the start of second term to get your class schedule first..

Most professors with hearts put their tests AFTER reading week, but you never know.. :/

I'd book it for saturday...based on the probability of getting a test on thurs/friday

You could always defer it or get an early write. That sounds like enough of a legitimate reason to me to get an early write...

As you may have noticed this term, many first-year midterms aren't during class time. So even though chem and physics are the only classes you have, you could have other midterms on a Thursday or Friday night too.

I'm not sure they'd let you defer a midterm because you booked a flight home--you're responsible for being in school during school time. Depending how far you live/how often you go home, you might decide to save MSAF in case you have a midterm then, or just book a flight on the Saturday/wait until January.

You could check here, but only for your tests in Level I Science courses.
