Reading Week in Term 1?!
I'm hearing that next week, Oct 22-26, is Reading Week. First of all is that true? Second does reading week mean no lectures and tutorials and labs? thanks!

No unfortunately it's not true, we don't get a reading week till February. And during reading week there is no school which means no lectures, labs and tutorials.

Considering how I have a midterm on wednesday I don't believe so.

There is no midterm recess for term one.

Lmao who told you that?
Also, all sessional dates are on the registrar's website, so if you're ever not sure, just check there.

I believe Mohawk has a reading week this week so maybe that's where the confusion is coming from.

If Eng had a fall reading week, given our schedule for the year, the Canadian Engineering Accreditation board would take away our accreditation and you would no longer receive a degree...

So keep your fingers crossed, Eng, that it doesn't happen...

no wonder engineering students were the only ones who didn't get the reading week at Ryerson.

They'd probably just do what Ryerson did and have engineers come to class during that week.
Just because you guys can't have one, doesn't mean everyone should suffer
Most likely though it won't be a full week...so I'm not sure exactly how that would work.
