Then you pay in instalments or monthly, you'll get charged interest but it gives you more time to get the money.

Quick question, the earliest that we can pick up OSAP is Sept. 10 right? I thought we could pick it up earlier from what I remember last year.
EDIT: nvm just checked my status on osap website.

what does this mean?
July 15 -- "Returning students should have the PA confirmed and be “Fully Registered” to ensure Confirmation Package is released by the Registrar’s Office."
i was waiting for the osap option to be updated and i forgot about my payment agreement for a while :( .. and then i finally reviewed my payment agreement today, checked off the "osap issued" box, and it said that my balance forward is $0.00.
i'm confused... what was that deadline of july 15th for? didnt they still accept osap as an option from me? because in the financial summary they listed the balance, and then the amount that osap would give me, and then a balance forward of $0.
what happens now? confused.. and panic-ing just a little.. lol

The deadline is to ensure that you get the confirmation package through the mail. It's pretty much a paper saying what courses you are enrolled in and your sticker for the year.
Chances are you won't receive it in the mail and will have to pick it up when you get to school.

lol ok thanks !
thats what i was thinking... cuz then it says "Last date to confirm the Payment Agreement without incurring a $50 Late Payment Agreement Fee." is August 31.
ok soooo I think i'm good ... the only problem is that i'll have to pick up my confirmation package at school instead of in the mail right? i was just scared that i messed up my osap or something lol.
by the way, where do we pick it up? and when? first day of school?

Yeah, you'll most likely have to pick it up at school. It's probably the Registrar's office, but they might move everything since they'll probably be a lot of people picking up. So, go by Gilmour Hall 108 and look for signs.
