So my friend will not be able to continue at mcmaster due to his gpa being lower than 3.0. He had a really tough year that included getting kicked out of his house a lot, and becoming extremely depressed that he tried to kill himself. He also had an issue where cops got called on him but it was not his fault. What are the chances of him being reinstated in September with taking a summer school course and getting a 10 in that. He has been going to counselling to deal with his depression and learn to cope with it and him and his family have worked all their problems out.

Has anyone got reinstated without taking a year off?
