reinstatement situation
Hi my name is Tom..

I have applied for reinstatement for the first time since 07/08. I was at mohawk for environmental technician program. just finished first year with 85. I have been reading over other reinstatement articles and it seems that people who were reinstated heard back from committee so early. (as early as june 30th and july 2nd) i still havent heard back as of July 14th. does it mean we have slim chance? let me know.

When did you apply for reinstatement?

Your chances of acceptance certainly declines after each acceptance, since reinstatement not only depends on your letter and grades but it also depends on the number of seats available in the program you are applying to. But you still applied at a good time because it's around the time first years have their final marks sent to OUAC. So McMaster is now rejecting students who didn't meet their conditional offers.

I hear that OUAC still accepts students for the program I am applying to. so I think there will be plenty of spots left. Would it be relevant to me? I mean as long as I have A grade is it going to be safe?

You would have to talk to the people who actually do reinstatements to know what they are looking for and other information.
