An utterly worthless class. The prof is more concerned with ridiculing your beliefs then teaching you anything. The readings have nothing to do with love outside of the prof's twisted interpretation of it. For a class about love he tries to make you believe that there is no such thing as love, and makes you read either depressing or irrelevant material to make his point stronger. But what he does is just a trick, all he does is show a variety of negative aspects and makes you think just because he's shown you variety what he's saying is still right. Even more confusing he uses 1984 to try and teach you that your life is worthless, you will amount to nothing in life, and that anything you do it pointless.

AGREED with all the of the above. Terrible class. The course has potential, but the prof ruined it.
