Res for Upper Years
I'm going into 2nd year in September and just applied to res so I;m on the waiting list. Just wondering what the process for the waiting list is. For example, if I;m first on the list and a room opens up because someone decided to bail out or something, would I have to take that particular room or could I wait till something else opens up. Also, I heard upper years only get single rooms, is this true?

I don't know about the waiting list part, but upper years are not always in a single room. I was in a double the past year (as a second year) and I had a first year roommate, who I did not request to live with.

For the most part upper years do live in res, but it does happen as JBeans suggested.
