Students have been encouraged to turn off lights afterleaving a room, take shorter showers, use task lighting and unplug electronics when not in use in order to reduce the amount of energy consumed in their residence.

I was a part of this challenge last year and it was awesome. My residence didn't end up winning but I had a lot of fun and I learned new ways of reducing energy consumption, which is neat. I am not living on rez. this year but I am curious as to which rez will win this year. I am hoping Brandon wins. Good Luck.
