Thanks to everyone who went out and voted for your SRA representative! The prelim results have been posted on the MSU website here. Congrats to all!

HSR Referendum 2008 Results
The results are in for the HSR referendum we've mentioned in past postings.
2049 people went out and voted, and the results are below:

YES - 1684
NO - 201
ABSTAIN - 116
SPOILED - 48
DECLINED - 0
TOTAL: 2049

This just shows how important it is for everyone to get out and vote. We almost didn't make enough to have the referendum pass one way or another. We needed 10% turnout, and got 10.2% - we just made it by 49 people.

Congrats to all the SRA members!

Wow. 0.2% or otherwise we'd be paying a couple hundred dollars a year to use transit.
