does anyone know how likely it is to become CA if you are top 10 on the waiting list?

has anyone that was on the waiting list gotten the position? im guessing its kinda unlikely anyone that has been offered a position would turn it down :| right?

just curious as to whether i should forget about the possibility of becoming a CA and just sign a lease..

and what exactly is this 2nd round of offers?

Well a number of people may not have been assigned the residence of their choice or may decide that they don't really want the commitments of the job. The second round is offered on February 23rd

There is a high chance that you will get a position - especially if you are on the top 10 waitlist. My friend was on the top 10 last year and got the position before NSLO.

Congratulations, you've pretty much sealed a spot as a CA at a yet-to-be confirmed residence.

I'm pretty sure you'll get the position. I was on the alternate waiting list....not even top 10, I got the position in July.

I was in the top 10, and got offered a position right after reading week. Your chances are pretty good. Congratulations!

The top 10 are damn near gauranteed a spot...

does it say top 10 on the email they respond back to u with? mine didnt really say any rank or anything? do they just rank the top 10 most likely people

hey ya i assumed they've ranked the 10 best alternate candidates...and we're one of the 10. they did'nt specify which number exactly though
