did it charge extra because u were in US or was it cause u had data on? Not sure about data but phone companies sends text when im approaching my minute cap (fido). In all honesty you should always keep a habit to monitor usage

Install an app for tracking data usage on your phone.

Call them up and tell them you received no text message stating you going over. 90% of the time they will credit you back.

This is what they call Monopolistic Competition.
You will learn more about in ECON 1B03 and later in your life.

Choose windmobile. Their coverage improved dramatically since 2 years ago so screw all those saying it got network issues. U can flexibly vhange plans at will online, and there's no contract

There is still a "contract" with Wind. That is because your phone is subsidized a specific amount and put on your wind tab. That tab is only cleared when your term, usually 2 years, is over. If you want to leave earlier to switch carriers, it's going to result in a cancellation fee via the remaining tab, just like the Big 3, idk if its going to less or not, i've never paid that cancellation fee. Besides that Wind is great except for the fact that they don't have much if any 4G data locations
