Rotary-Rotaract Charity Gala
The McMaster Rotaract club is throwing a formal! To learn more about Rotoract, who they are, what they do and more please click here.
This gala is not only a chance for you to get all dressed up but the proceeds are going towards a really great cause. All proceeds will go towards the ShelterBox initiative. The ShelterBox program provides shelter, food and clean water to people living in devastated areas. Each ShelterBox contains ten sleeping bags, a ten-person tent, tools, cooking aids, clean water, a light source and a heater.
The formal is taking place at McMaster Faculty Club starting at 6pm on Friday March 13th. This event will include our guest speaker Dan Ohlgren, a professional jazz performance by Shannon Butcher, a three-course meal and a raffle. In addition, many Rotarians from Hamilton and its surrounding areas will be attending this event so this is a great networking opportunity and a way to find out about Rotary and Rotaract.
Tickets are $35 for students and $50 for Rotary members. Contact Megan Vincent [email protected] to reserve tickets. Remember this is a formal event, so proper attire is required!
