MSSS Formal: An Icy Gala

Each year, the MSSS (McMaster Social Sciences Society) throws a formal.
This is a popular event for all students, both those in Soc Sci and those that are not. Taking place on February 1st 2008 at Carmen's banquet centre, the formal has a lot of reasons to attract students.
Transportation to and from Carmen's is available from the Student Centre (which means no one has to be a DD). Dinner consists of three courses, and has vegetarian options. A cash bar is available for patrons who are of legal age. For dessert there is a chocolate fountain, with lots of things to be dipped. (It will help people set the mood for after the event....if you know what I mean).
And then there are the giveaways. There are some amazing prizes to be won this year. Like last year, the MSSS is giving away a
Nintendo Wii. But in addition to this
an iTouch can be won as well. Some smaller prizes are going to be raffled off too. And everyone gets a small parting gift for attending.
Tickets for the event are only $30, and are available from the MSSS Office (KTH 101A), as well as Compass. Non-McMaster students are allowed to attend, however you cannot purchase these tickets from Compass. The last day tickets will be on sale is January 31st.
