That's one expensive tradition. that money could be put to something more productive, and imagine paying that every year. It adds up pretty quickly. I must say, though, that "The King's Speech" was an excellent movie.

36 million isn't anything for something like a government program. 36 million gets you a four lane road to the US border from Surrey, BC. And not even a new four lanes, but an expansion of the roads already there to make it four lanes. It's roughly 20 km distance, and a 22 min drive, according to Google.

ie, not much.

I care about all the Lip Dub excitement more than this wedding, and that's saying something.

How about around $100 for every canadian given the fact that our population increases over time. Do they really deserve this money? That's all I'm saying. They're just people. nothing special especially this last generation of royals. They know nothing of reality. Everything is provided for them.

donuts are not good, though.especially timmies. (frozen and everything. yuk.) everything should be relative to coffee. It would be around 56 cups of starbucks coffee.

Ummm.... not sure. but coffee is a much better topic. Maybe because they probably don't have donuts over in England and they probably drink more tea than coffee... just guessing.:smile_coffe e:
