The system will randomly select your cores/tutorials/labs for you and if you don't like what they've picked then you can try and switch them when SOLAR re-opens in August.

Wait so we just pick the course we want and SOLAR will pick the Core, lab, and tutorials for you? Then What can you pick? I believe the START tutorial video said that you have to select the core times.

Yes, you pick courses and it picks for you and releases your schedule on August 7th, THEN, on August 9th, you can go in and change the sections they assigned you to.

Oh thanks! Do you recommend taking econ 1b03/1bb3 or kin 1y031/yy3 first year (I'm thinking of doing 1b03/1bb3 first year and 1y03/1yy3 second year)?

Economics 1b03/1bb3 are light courses but if you are not focused in first year you may waste your opportunity with them as you should only take them once. In hindsight I hardly worked for these classes and I received a satisfactory grade. If I had the opportunity now to take these classes after I have developed strong study habits I'm certain I'd receive an A+ grade.

Most kin spots are reserved for first years. You have a better chance of getting a seat this year.

No. You just confirm how you are going to pay. You don't even really have to do it when you register, but you might as well.
