Science Society Elections, 2009

Attention all Science students! The McMaster Science society elections are coming up quick!

The nomination period for President and VP Socials will be between January 26 to January 30. Election day will be held on February 6th in the BSB lobby.

Nomination period for all other exec positions (ie. year reps, VP Communications, VP Academic, VP Administration) will be between February 9th to February 13th. Election day for these positions will be held on February 27th in the BSB lobby.

All vice president and year rep positions are open to all students in the faculty of Science. The President position requires a minimum of one year of Science Society executive experience. Nomination forms will be available in the Science Society office in BSB B108.

Why would they make the election day for the latter exec positions during Reading Week?
That seems rather ill-planned.
