Seriously? I used those a few times last year... had no idea. ._. But honestly, it is kind of creepy down there even without that knowledge.

Speaking of creepy things.....
There used to be this old man who would hang around in front of Woodstock Hall, near the garbage compactor and the entrance to Commons. I didn't know anyone else who saw him, but I saw him almost every week, just standing on the side of parking lot, starring off into space....
....maybe McMaster needs to call Ghostbusters?

The shortest distance between two points is a straight line... UNLESS that line takes you through the Student Center.
The Arts Quad buildings can be accessed after hours through the tunnels, and there are always tutorial rooms which are unlocked and are good for studying. Also, one of the buildings has a TA lounge on an upper floor which is always unlocked and has a comfy couch and table... but I won't tell you which one
No matter what you wear, the tutorial rooms under TSH will NEVER be a comfortable temperature.

I Think you aren't allowed to smoke indoors at all(classes, student center, residences)and outside you can't smoke within 5 meters of a building. However there is a "smokers corner" that has developed in the Mills Courtyard right outside the frontdoors of MUSC. The closest Smoke shops are a Convenience store in Westdale and a Gas Station across Main Street.
Though I'm not sure if the floors in some residences where they allowed smoking still exist or not.

McMaster's nuclear reactor is actually an experimental laboratory for teleportation technology, and since it is still in it's early developmental days, it routinely transports random assortments of furniture into once-functional spaces in Mills Memorial Library.
