Selling Textbooks question
So I wanna sell some of my course textbooks because I won't be needing them anymore. I know there is a marketplace section in these forums, but is there an official place on campus to sell them or something? Thanks.

inb4 everything

There is the "hole in the wall" in the basement of the student center near titles. You can go on the titles website and type in the ISBN of your book and see how much they will offer you. They give you cash for the books, but it depends on demand.

Sometimes you can get good money from them, but other times their offers are really crappy. I find it avoids the hassle of having to meet up with people though.

I doubt you would have much luck selling them right now to students...your best bet is to wait until september when classes start up again and people are looking for books. Unless the course is offered in the summer, then you can give selling a try now.

Don't bother selling your books to the Hole in the Wall. You won't get much.

Best bet is to post in the Classifieds section of Titles new website sometime mid August or now if the course is available in the summer.

EDIT: When entering the info of the textbooks don't forget to check the box 'Post in Used Book Classifieds?'!

The only books I have to offer are:

Greek: An Intense Course (Ancient Greek 1Z03/1ZZ3)
Philosophical Problems: An Annotated Anthology (Philosophy 1E03)
Understanding Human Communication: CANADIAN EDITION (CMST 1A03)
Introduction to Communication: SECOND EDITION (CMST 1A03)

As for MMEDIA 1B03, I stupidly did not purchase the courseware in the first place (yet somehow made it through the course). Sorry.

EDIT: @Krup92: MMEDIA 1B03 is way more hands on. There's no final exam. All you do is photoshop and web design, as well as some Flash. But there will be some theory to do.

i found the bigger texbooks i try to sell through classifieds, since some of my packages like for physics and math cost almost $200, so i sell them for a bit over $100 while the hole in the wall gives you like $40 (i dont know that number for sure, but some of my books they give like 15% of its value so i dont use it).

i personally try to sell mine over the summer, just so i dont have to worry about it, but in september is good too since then you just meet the person on campus and its much simpler

edit: I found my math textbook to be $190, they offer $10.50 as a buyback. This is why you sell privatley
