So if it doesn't say by now that we're eligible for Senate, then we won't be getting one for this past year's session? Or are they not done reviewing everything yet for that?

Just wanna know if I should keep holding my breath or not for it lol, got 11.0 (in science) and if the cutoff really was 11.1+ I think I'll go shoot my TA -_-"""

I got a CA of 11.2 but no eligibility so the cut-off is probably 11.3+. The cut-off keeps going up, was 11.0 last year and 10.9 the year before.

Do they consider CA when awarding the scholarships, or just sessional averages?

My bad, I meant sessional average. They consider your sessional average so the entire year and not your entire undergrad.

Isn't there a chance that maybe they haven't considered everyone's eligibility yet, and are going down the list from highest to lowest grades? Or is tonight the night when everyone can figure out their eligibility?

I think there is still a chance. Some guy mentioned he got it in January instead of September or before classes begin.

Yeah I got in last year in january too, so it does happen. I think maybe it's because some people have deferred exams and their averages go down? It would be weird if they just suddenly had more money...

Wow science cut-off was high this year! I know someone who is eligible with 11.4, so either 11.3 or 11.4 must've been the cutoff if 11.2 didn't get it.

I don't know about the eligibility dates (didn't know about the scholarship until I received it, so I never bothered to check), but last year I received the "congratulations on your achievement!" email on July 26th. So you guys will probably know for sure in about a month.

Also, it's definitely possible that they will give out more scholarships for second semester because students that won the scholarship but aren't returning to Mac have to forfeit the money (eg. everyone who got into professional school after 3rd year, graduating students). I didn't get the $800 for this reason :(.
