Senate Scholarship
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has received a Senate scholarship for 2013-2014 already. If not, does anyone know when they might be potentially announced? Thanks!

I was awarded the Hooker Scholarship last week on the 25th, I'm assuming Senate would've been the same day.

I was awarded Senate Scholarship on 25th too. However, I don't see the scholarship money in my account yet. Does anyone else?

I'm not sure about the Senate Scholarship but I received the H.L. Hooker on the 26th and the value has been added (deducted?) from the opening balance for the upcoming school year in my student account.

Does one get a university senate scholarship if you're graduating in November or June of next year?

Sure, one can definitely get it. I'm graduating in Nov this year, and I still got it. Just didn't get the award amount. But I'll still get a notation on my transcript.

Not sure if you have checked now, but it should be visible. The Senate Scholarship amount is shown on my payment agreement and is subtracted from my school fees as shown on Mugsi

**edit: sorry, just saw that you posted about graduating, hence it not being subtracted from your fees!

I don't understand, I made the cut-off posted for 2013/14 for my faculty, but I haven't received anything, and my mugsi says "No award information found".

Where did you find the 2013-2014 cutoff? It's pretty early for them to have already posted it.

Here's the link to the cutoffs.

And Winkster, did you receive any other scholarships this year? McMaster has a policy where you can receive 1 major scholarship (800 or more) and 1 minor (less than 800) or 2 minor ones.

Hmm, those cutoffs are dated July 28 and it says they're subject to change. So maybe that's it? You could always email your faculty and ask, if you feel like you should have gotten it.
