Yes... however, I'm not exactly sure if you're allowed to declare two minors at the end; might only be one.

I believe you are allowed to declare two minors.

No problem bellaaa.
And hey you could minor in both even
Yeah, I'm starting to lose my fluency. I haven't had enough space to take French in first year or in second year. I'm practicing reading out loud so I can try to retain as much as possible, but I'm really sad that I can't take French in university :(

Well, 2 minors would be 48 units... I think some programs have a lot of electives, like 40 somethings units. Plus the 12 units from first year (say you wanted a minor in math, you'd have taken Math 1A03 and Math 1AA3 in first year. Those two courses are on the life science list. So it would also go towards your degree.)

For me, I`m doing my minor completely because of interest. And mine makes no sense as well. I`m in kinesiology, with a goal of medical school, or a graduate program in physio, and I`m minoring in math. Completely unrelated.

The minor in math will help to count all the money you make!

Bellaaa- if you enjoy both poli sci and econom, then you'll probably take courses in each . But I definitely don't recommend it, since they're so irrekevant to your major and you'd definitely need a break from them once in a while. If you think about it 1 course per year is still a lot .. in a way. BUt for me for example, I was thinking a minor in biochem and one in french.. while my major is life sci.. So my biochem courses would count towards life sci anyway. If you know what I mean

Lol, my electives turned out to be English and Physics because I need them both for Optometry.

The prerequisites for Optometry school are similar to those found for Med Schools in the States. The reason being is because Optometry is becoming more and more of a medical career. In the States, optometrists are allowed to prescribe drugs as well as operate on the eye (Not sure what kinds of operations they can do, but I do know they can drill into the eye in order to remove foreign bodies.)
