Does anyone know a site/cloud service/anything that will let me upload large files [like lots of movies] and share with people? Preferably something free

The ones with the best speeds (for downloaders at least) are Mediafire Jumbofiles and Filefactory

I've given up trying to share large files online and now just use USB/portable hard drives to transfer stuff to/from my computer to school computers, friends' computers, etc.

Having to deal with those file sharing sites is a pain in the ass unless you pay for their premium service because of the throttled download speeds and long wait times between downloads. But more than that, the main problem is that every ISP that I know throttle upload speeds like a *****, making it take forever to upload large files onto one of those given sites in the first place.

Unless somehow you have an ISP that lets you upload at high speeds, it's faster just to redownload whatever it is you're trying to share at your second location, or use portable flash drives where possible.
