How to take notes on pdf files
Professors like to create notes in the form of pdf files. I usually try to minimize the printing because it's environmentally unfriendly to print so many pages a week. Is there a way to take notes ON the pdf file with a separate software?

There should be an option for inserting comments/annotations on the PDF itself as well as text boxes on it too.

Do you have any idea how many human beings suffer from terrible outdoor allergies? Environmentally unfriendly is the only way to protect our species.

honestly, i never used one note, but since its inside microsoft office, foxit is easier to get.. as you would have to download the whole microsoft office i assume ..

edit: foxit is only 1.7mb

edit edit: you can use dc++ off campus if you can open a port

short explanation:

if you want to connect, make sure you open up a port on your firewall, set yourself as active in DC++ settings, set the open port.. and connect to machub.dyndns.org and there you go..

long explanation:

basically, for someone to download from someone else, at least one person needs to be "active".. then the passive one will connect to the active one.. the problem with mcmaster is that there is a big firewall between off campus and on campus that doesnt let you be active on campus.. but if you were on campus, you could conect to anyone else on campus because there was nothing blocking you on the local network.. the server that you need to connect to that manages who is connected use to be on campus.. which means that no one from off campus can access it since the server needs to be "active".. now they moved the server to off campus so everyone can connect..

another problem is that when you download from on campus to on campus, you were not being capped on how much you download.. but now, whenever an off campus downloads from an on campus, the on campus will be only able to upload so much until mcmaster decides to cap that person..

sorry for my retarded explanation.. not really good at explaining.. lol

Try http://go-oo.org/

It's a free, open source OpenOffice modification.
