Many people say study guide is not quite useful. So, I don't know if I would buy it or not. I need some advices from upper year schoolmates. Please help!

Usually, the study guide comes bundled with new texts bought from the bookstore. So if you're buying new, the price of the study guide is included in the price of the text, so you're basically getting it for free, as a bonus. Usually, the study guides just have some extra practice questions, to help you study (as you might have guessed, haha!) But I'd say that its definitely not imperative for you to have the guides to do well in the course, especially if it means buying them separately. I didn't use the study guides in first year (I bought my books used) and I did fine. I guess it comes down to asking whether you think you need//would actually use all the extra questions that they provide.
