Simple Course Timetable Question
Hello Everyone,

I went to the time table to make sure none of the courses I took were overlapping. I found that for example Math 1A03 for term 1 the course options were a [Mon/Wed Lecture], a [Friday Lecture] and a [Wed/Th/Fri day Lecture] all by Professor Hart.

Why is it that these options have a different number of lectures? Like for the first option there are 2, for the second there is just 1, and for the last there are 3 options. What is the purpose/meaning of this?

Here is an image that illustrates what I mean;

Thank you for reading this and for your time!

EDIT: Sorry I meant Math 1B03

I looked it up and I don't see Dr.Hart teaching any Math 1A03? Can you link me?

I think based on what you said M/W/F is one core and the w/T/F is another. If the lectures are at different times they write them on a new line (if that makes any sense lol).

Sorry, I meant Math 1B03. It's by Professor Hart.

Here is the link:https://adweb.cis.mcmaster.ca /mtt/... =1A03&t=1&d=D
Alright, I see what you mean. Is the three hour course for every type of course or just math courses?

Sorry, I can't post links, but it's actually Math 1B03. I understand what you mean by the new line. The problem is that these courses are written in new lines.

So for Math 1B, there is only one core.

It is Monday and Thursday at 930 and Tuesday at 1030. Then there is a tutorial (where the prof or TA will go over problems etc.) and that is Friday at 830.

So you have four class time slots for this course.

RiskBreaker says thanks to Biochem47 for this post.
