Timetable changes question
I originally wanted to take Japanese 1Z06 as my elective, but the class is full. So instead I put Kinesiology 1Y03 & 1YY3 but I would still like to get into Japanese.
Is August 10 the date when we can start changing (e.g. dropping courses and switching into other ones) our timetables AND the date when we start selecting cores and tutorial times? I'm confused because if I assume I have to stick with Kinesiology, I would pick different core times for the other courses, but if I get into Japanese later, I would have to change the original core times in case there are conflicts. What if the core times are full when I change them?
Thank you!

Then you can't change them. That's why picking courses prior to sectioning is easier. SOLAR will open again sometime in July before sectioning and you can try and get in again before it closes for sectioning.

So, that means July 11 is the 'drag and drop' date?

There's no Kin 1X03/1XX3, do you mean 1Y03, 1YY3 Anat & Physio? SOLAR re-opens on July 11th. You can start changing cores/tutorials on Aug 15th. If they're full when changing them, then you'd have to wait for it to open, or take a different elective at the worst situation.

Thanks for pointing that out, Sara. I did mean 1Y03 and 1YY3.
Just one final question (I hope), I'm guessing that most of the Humanities classes are full because the seats are being saved for the Faculty of Humanities students. Is there going to be some time when seats will be available for the other faculties in the case that the Humanities students don't fill up the estimated seats?

No problem ! Not necessarily, as not all seats are saved for Humanities students, there's usually seats for students from other faculties. And yes, if there's open seats, they usually open up later on in the summer, sometime in August or so after all Humanities students have registered and after sectioning and whatnot.
