Do you really think mac will give us a snow day? last time they canceled school at 5:30 pm ._.
Don't get your hopes up and go to bed early.
Edit: @ leeo last time they canceled school due to snow was at 5:30pm on Feb. 5th ... meaning this term not last term.

last term was different cause the reading break was new and enforced cutting class time. With spring normally having a reading week and factored in, the bar will be lower. But don't depend on it

Mac would rather risk the lives of students than potentially lose out on a day of funding. No classes, no funding from mama Wynne.

MAC will definitely not make tomorrow a snow day. When it felt like -35 outside with snow, they didn't cancel school. Why would 10-15cm of snow and -18 would change their minds?

The wind will be a major factor for tomorrow. The Weather Network is forecasting the afternoon as a 'blizzard'.

According to weather network, probably around 4, snow will start. But I doubt that there will be a snow day tomorrow.

If its any indication as to what's going to happen, here are some basic stats since ive been at Mac:
Under McMaster's new Provost: 1/3 of a snowday (Feb 2014)
McMaster's old Provost: 3 snowdays (Dec 2010, somepoint in 2012, Feb 2013)
Although the new provost has been in office for a relatively short time, he doesnt necessarily have a reputation for cancelling classes. Keep in mind many people are calling this the worst winter in the past 20-30 years.
Btw in case you didnt know, its the provost office who is responsible for making the call on class cancellations
