The last time McMaster had a snow day was the year before I start attending... so 2007-2008.

How can you not? When we were in Grade 11. February 14!  I believe that would have been 2008.

Anyways we are long overdue for a snow fall. Something like what London, ON recieved a month or so ago. =D

Lol I remember cuz I was a little too excited over playing in the snow with my brothers.

lol I just remembered because that was the one day I woke up late, ran to school thinking it would have to be the apocalypse before they shut it down, and then seeing the parking lot empty I was like

You can check if the school is closed by calling Mac's main number, 525-9140. No extension. It'll be a recording saying "The school is closed today, January 12, due to snow"
If it's anything like the other snow days, they will announce the school closure at 8:20am, when off campus students have already spent 1.5 to 2 hours getting ready and taking the bus to school for their 8:30am class. Ugh.
Don't get your hopes up though. I kind of hope it's not a snow day. I have two classes with labs for the first time tomorrow, I want to get them over with.

February 1st, 2008. I remember because our Chem 1AA3 midterm was rescheduled.

i really dont think school will be cancelled.
for a university to close, it usually takes enough snow to cancel city buses
but there's still hope just call your own snow day and dont go to class

As far as I'm concerned, if the bus doesnt run, I am not driving in that much snow for an hour, so screw my required lab. :|
