so I have to write an essay
I have to write one. and it means I have to look through journals and summarize a few of them with some references and a thesis and then conclude it and then hand it in, and then it will be graded and I'll pass the class.
But I don't want to do it cause it is boring and a little absurd and I'd rather do something else
what do? :S

I am also incredibly bored by essays. I had to write an essay this weekend, and it was the first time in about... 6 years that I've done it. The hardest part was getting started. Once I actually set my mind to it, I powered through in a couple of hours. Just get over that hump, and you'll be fine. (I'm not saying I ENJOYED it after the hump, just... got'er done)

Oh man, if I ever have to write another essay again, I'm screwed. Last essay I wrote was in January 2008, lol.
Anyway, you could always follow the generally crappy template they throw at you in highschool:
Code:
<Introduction>
<Awkwardly introduce 3 arguments>
<Random sentence trailing off into your first point>
for(int i = 0; i < 3; i++){
<Arguments + Quotes on why argument #i and why the reader is wrong if they don't think so>
<Connecting sentence to next point>
}
<Conclusion>
Introduction.Invert();

I kinda like writing essays; of course, I usually get to choose my topic, or at least choose from a few different topics.

For the most part, essays are a part of university life. I say just suck it up and start writing
Good luck!

I always like to take some advice from Calvin and Hobbes when it comes to issues such as your own. Just ask yourself, What Would Calvin and Hobbes Do?
Hopefully this comic strip will help you.

I don't envision him reading through all of them thoroughly.
Use big words.
You won't like my progress, so I won't say it here (I started about a month ago and have been writing 1 or 2 paragraphs at a time).

Yeeeah you're generally not supposed to re-state your intro...it's bad essay form in university.
It's been said before, but I'll say it again...suck it up and do it. I've got four course essays and two (or more, depending on format) take-home essays instead of exams. The first four are due by the 7th, the latter two are due the 19th and 21st, and I have two other exams to worry about. I win the pissing contest.
