Social Science-Poli Sci help please!
Hey,
I just finished choosing my courses and I plan on majoring in Political Science and intend to graduate with a BA. I was hoping somone could tell me if the courses I chose will satisfy first year requirements for Social Science and a Political Science major, since I found the process a little confusing. These are my courses:
1G06-Politics and Government
1BO3-Economics (Micro)
1BB3- Economics (Macro)
1A06- Social work
1A06-Sociology
1SS3-Inquiry
2XX3-Politics of the third world

Thanks in advance to anyone!

The only course you NEED to take in first year is Pol Sci 1G06. Eventually you will need to take 6 units in Humanities, so it's easier to get those out of the way in first year. I suggest you don't take a second year course while in first year.

Degree is irrelevant; required courses and MCAT are more important. There's a billion topics on this, do a search for more info.

It depends on the school. For e.g. McMaster has no pre-reqs and they only use the VR section of the MCAT.

You can apply from any program as long as you have the prerequisites. Each school has a different prerequisite.

I don't know if you would be able to apply to the States though. I have no idea if they have program requirements but their prerequisites are much longer than med schools in Canada.
