What I would do is.. check out the undergrad calendar and look at the upper-year courses that interest you. Here's an example..
Say, I'm looking at GEOG 2UI3: INTRODUCTION TO URBAN GEOGRAPHY
- If I look past the description and the duration and such.. you'll see the
Pre-reqs.
- For GEOG 2UI3's case, the pre-req's are One of GEO 1HS3, 1HU3,
GEOG 1HA3,
1HB3.
In your case, don't worry about 1HS3 and 1HU3 because those were the classes that have now been replaced by 1HA3 and 1HB3. So now you know, you need to take either 1HA3 or 1HB3 this year.
So do this for all your upper year classes that you'd like to do; look it up in the undergrad calendar, check out the pre-req's and plan your first year courses around that
But to answer your question, for Labour Studies, alot of the upper year courses for that require you to be in the actual Labour Studies program. Geo is pretty lax I find; do at least one of the first year Geo courses, and you'll be fine. Sociology, do the first year one and you'll be fine. Same for Social Work.
Hope that answers your question
