I took this for my Soc minor last semester.
Basically its 50% midterm and 50% final exam, both are 6-8 written questions. Generally everything comes from the lecture (there was 1 question on the midterm that was from the textbook but I'd recommend not getting the textbook since the prof tells you all the topics on the exam-I just googled the textbook question). There is also a question on both exams about part of a journal article you have to read, but this isn't too hard if you actually read the article.
Midterm was harder, mostly because you only get 50 minutes to complete it. I think the class average for the midterm was about 58-60% (I know a girl that got 28%). Lots of people dropped the course actually, but the final exam was super easy.
The prof, Budros, is okay-kinda gets off topic and tends to have lots of examples. He was horrible at teaching the math formulas so go to tutorial for that, otherwise tutorials are not mandatory (no marks) so you don't have to go. TAs post all the tutorial material on avenue anyway, you should look it over before the tests.
Overall, a pretty boring class, but you shouldn't do too bad if you go to lectures and take good notes. Also, don't let the math scare you, it's only 4 formulas, and only 2 were on the exams.
