Urgent
At a city committee meeting last week a motion to force McMaster to have all its construction trucks run through the centre of campus failed, which means it will be brought to a City Council meeting this Wednesday the 26th, where there is a good chance the motions supporters will find the support they need to have it passed. In short, for the safety of students, this is bad. The sheer volume of students on this campus makes it difficult for any vehicle to make its way down University Ave., never mind the HSR buses that to date regularly injure students each year.

In response to this, the MSU has initiated a letter campaign in which a template is set up with a box to personalize the letter, and info fields, on the MSU website with a submit button that will forward the letter to all Hamilton city councillors. Please visit the website below, well before Wednesday so that we'll be a big step closer to ensuring the safety of students.
You can reach the letter either through the following link: http://www.msu.mcmaster.ca/bod/form.php
Or by visiting the MSU homepage and under the section that says URGENT: www.msu.mcmaster.ca
