SOLAR Course Registration
I'm a life sci student, first yr and registering on SOLAR right now. I got all the slots I want except for only two courses..whats the likelihood that my desired slots will open up? And what happens if I have conflicts and I can't resort back to my original timetable b/c ppl have already taken those slots? Any advice? thanks

Not sure what the chances are, just keep trying until the deadlines. I got into a course last year a couple days before classes started. I tried everyday.

Edit: Nevermind, you were talking about sections for courses. Keep checking, people are always moving around.

So, I've got a couple of conflicts in my Term 2 classes but I left and didn't really care about it since I still have time till the deadline for Term 2 courses (which Jan 13th I believe) ..I just wanted to confirm that this is an OK thing to do and it won't affect me in a negative way.

It shouldn't affect you until term 2 if you haven't resolved it by then. And yes, it's Jan 13th.

Even tho I think it'll be resolved by that time - how would you go about resolving it?

Just you keep checking every day. Ask people on MI and other forums/groups if they want to trade sections, etc...
