SOLAR - Failed Requisite Results
I'm on SOLAR right now signing up for summer school and I really wanted to take a Level II elective during the summer so I would have a lesser course load next year. I'm in Level 1 now and it says that the Level II course I want to take failed the requisite results.
Does this mean I can't take the course ahead of time? I've already signed up for a level II program on SOLAR but I suppose I have to be accepted before I can sign up for Level II courses? I'm afraid it'll fill up if I wait any longer.
Help please. :S

Yeah same problem. I'm in life sci I now, and I want to take orgo I and II over the summer. I somehow pass the prerequisites for orgo II but not I? What is this? Do I have to wait until I finish Chem 1aa3 to sign up for this? Because I'm afraid all seats will be gone by then.

Check the Undergrad Calendar for this year and you will find out exactly what are the pre-reqs OR the anti-reqs for the courses. That will probably answer your questions, if not, speak to an advisor. Remember that you still have an entire month to register for semester 1 so don't freak out just yet.

The prereq for the course I wanted to take, EARTH SC 2GG3, just says "Registration in Level II or above". All of my friends are having the same problem and are going to see an advisor, I will too. And thanks, I didn't realize we had a month.

It's most likely because you're still registered as a Level I student and will be until September.
Yeah, I don't get it either.

go to the Chemistry department in ABB156, and ask the receptionist Miranda for a Course Permission form for Organic Chemistry 2OA3/2OB3. You fill that out on the spot, and withing 1-2 business days, she'll email you telling you she gave you permission. SOLAR will then allow you to take it.
hope you get in asap!
