Monday: SOLAR did not open after midnight
8am seemed to be the magic hour



Apparently being past midnight doesn't count as being a 'new day' yet. Last year you were able to get in a minute after midnight.

SOLAR's hours (see here), say that it is open 24 hours (except for a short downtime at 3am). So just as last year, it should be open at midnight.

I'll keep you all posted, we'll see when SOLAR finally realizes its the 16th.

Update 1: 1am, SOLAR still thinks it's yesturday.

Update 2: 7am, no change

Update 3: 8:15am, SOLAR's Fall 2008 session is now available. Could it be that it opened at 8am?

Update 4: As of June 17th people have reported to us that they have been able to get on SOLAR just past midnight, so it looks like it was an issue only for the first day of registration.

12:37am. I've been kicked out of MUGSI twice, and now I'm back in. and SOLAR still isnt workin

That...or theres a glitch no one knows about and everything is going to be pushed back again...

If I recall correctly, I was supposed to get first dibs last year too (being Level IV Humanities) but I couldn't get on until two days later.

hey so i finally got the courses i wanted =)
i got to the "Confirmation of registration" page with all my courses listed out and a confirmation #, but when i try to access the payment agreement page, I get a "website overload" message and I'm kicked out.

thats not a problem rite?
