Solar Tips ?
A few questions:

When I try logging into MUGSI/SOLAR but I get that 45 minute. pop-up, do I keep refreshing the pop-up page? or do I close that pop-up window & click on MUGSI/SOLAR agen & keep doing that constantly to get into MUGSI/SOLAR

Once I'm in SOLAR, how do I know that I've got the time-slot I wanted. The drop down menu will show if it is available, but suppose someone else saves and exits while I'm still working through the timings of other courses, how do I know that I still have those timings. Do I keep saving after I change up a tutorial/lab/core ? ..

Thanks guys !

When you get the popup, it's easier to just close it and click again.
alt+f4 is pretty helpful for closing windows quickly.

if a spot is free in a course that's highly coveted, I'd suggest adding it and confirming right away in case SOLAR decides to crash on you and you end up losing the seat x)

When I confirm, will that take me out of solar so that I'll have to sign-in again ?

No, you just have to re-open SOLAR unless you logged into MUGSI 45 minutes ago.

yeah, when you verify and accept you'll have to get back into solar.
I personally think it's better than getting accidentally booted out and also losing the seat at the same time, but you could also just add the course and finish rearranging the rest of your schedule before verifying and accepting.

Sorry, when I "Add" the course, that doesn't mean I've got the seat right ? the only way i have the seat is when I confirm everything & save.. Is that correct ?

You "have" the seat until you either get booted from SOLAR or confirm & save.

Don't refresh SOLAR, it'll kick you out. You have to just keep using the dropdown menu.
