lol, sucks to be in first year. At least I get to study something interesting; coding and datasheets for the AVRMega16 microcontroller.

I'm keeping up with my reading, for the most part. That's what I think is most important because if you get behind on that then you get behind on what is going on in lectures, therefore not understaning tutorial discussions, assignments.... essentially, its a downward spiral. So I'm trying to keep up with my reading!

Interesting the your not using the grandfather Motorola 68HC11. Was not fun working with that old thing.

For my lab course alone, I have 2 hours of lecture and 8 hours of a week. Takes me 2hours to do the prelab, 1-2 hours to do the reading and like another 2 hours to finish the calculations and write up (for each lab, and I have it twice a week). So I spend like 20-22h a week on one course.
I'm the type of person who usually stacks things up and do it all at once. And now I have to be on top of things. Oh, the trauma!

I'm going to guess the "What the f--- is going on?!?" is going to arrive right around middle of next week when all our labs are taking place. Oh, and don't forget the random assignment the profs will give us!
