Starcraft 2 Tournament @ Mac
Just a heads up, there is a starcraft 2 tournament comming to McMaster, Jan 22nd.

Looking forward to destroying some noobs (read: getting owned by SUGGY or Phaint). Just hoping I don't have to face either of those two. Anyone know if SUGGY will actually play?

We are getting some laptops to borrow as well, but plan to bring your own machine.

We will have a low and a high bracket tournament, as we want to keep it interesting.

Yes, FREE to watch, and we recommend ppl come to play with others for practice or just for fun (without paying entry fee). Plenty of seats. Also we have 3 LCD (22in) at the front of the room (facing away from tournament players), in which we can spectate on.

We cannot setup our regular LAN server, but you can also play regular LAN games as well.

very much so. On a 3.5 year old laptop with dedicated ATI X1600 card, 3 GB ram, 2ghz dual core AMD cpu, on low settings i get 30-50fps.

any newer laptop with a dedicated card is fine.
