Yep, I've been playing on my laptop and it runs better than my desktop
Although it's harder to play with a laptop keyboard (I know Leeoku plugs in a different keyboard into his laptop, just cause laptop keyboards are so bad)

I run SC2 better on my MacBook Pro than my desktop, its just gross to game on a laptop so I choose the desktop. I have a monitor coming in to hook up to my MacBook with HDMI so I can just phase out my desktop altogether.

lol I run the McMaster starcraft 2 team ( http://www.cstarleague.com/league/teams/73) and I rarely even play myself in the line up. I didn't play at all during the entire christmas break so my stats are lacking. I'm going to go hard for Masters league today but I'm very sick. Join the McMaster chatroom everyone!
I made this awhile back, feel free to add yourselves. http://sc2ranks.com/c/1640/mcmaster-university/ (Go to manage players and add your SC2ranks link)

So would we just show up there on the 22nd to register, or would we have to beforehand?

Since we invite ppl from around ontario, and teams are not used, registration is not really needed, just show up on time and ready to game. We will draft a bracket the day of the event, unless Blizzard forces us otherwise.
We have sold preregistration tickets for Counter Strike / Dota tournaments in the past, but it was a waste of time as most of the players bought tickets the day of.

For the tournament it will be MacConnect(wired) only, but you are free to bring any gaming rig you want, the more ppl to come, the merrier. Most games can be played on MacConnect, but some don't like the port/firewall restrictions, Starcraft 1 and any Steam game are always ok...
