Stats 3Y03 info needed
Hey looking for an updated Brief course review on stats 3Y03 for engineers. Just touching on things like course load, course difficulty, if one should be proficient with programming and/or high school stats, good/bad teachers, and anything else I'm forgetting that you'd like to share.
Appreciated

Dr Nagham Mohammad is a fair prof. She puts in effort in her teaching as well as her slides. Her slides are extremely useful when studying for tests and exam. The only thing bad about her is that each question on her midterms and exam is worth a % of your final grade. So you can't afford to get too many wrong. But then again, as I said, she's a fair prof. You'll find that 70% of her midterms and exam are easy marks. The other 30% is slightly challenging.
In general, you gotta keep up with Stats. You slack off a bit and you'll find yourself a mile behind the rest of the class. So do your practice problems on time and you'll be fine.

Background in stats, not much. Any background you have in stats, helps, but you start from scratch in this course (even though its a third year course).
However, you should have some basic knowledge of definite and indefinite integrals and be comfortable with exponential and logarithmic functions. Also, not be afraid of greek symbols.

if you took grade 12 data management that'll cover you to midterm 1. It's simple stuff like mean median etc. The rest is statistical methods. Not having a background in stats won't be a disadvantage

What's the difference between Stats 3Y03 and Elec Eng 3TQ4?
From descriptions and course outlines it seems exactly the same. Any experience?
