Stats Software
So...
Got the textbook from a friend, the software for the course is PASW/SPSS. Tried to download it from online, but it didn't work. Tried to find somewhere to buy it, but I can't find anywhere. I'm guessing if I go to Titles, they might be able to help, but..was hoping for it to be a little cheaper???

The program is SPSS Statistics. Never used it before, just found it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPSS

Nvm...got it to work, but now it's asking for a licensing number...
Is there anywhere I can get this?
EDIT: willing to buy, if I can find a place?

In the file you downloaded and extracted, is there a folder called 'License' or something along those lines?

Zebedee says thanks to jupiter for this post.

Oh, now it says I activated the trial version for 21 days...
Guess I'll just re-install it after that...:.)

I get somewhat offended by statements like that (just kidding). People always like to restrict the field of Computer Science to merely just programming and to tasks such as this.

Not sure how it works for that software, but you probably don't need to re-install it. I think you can go to their main website or something and they will provide you with an access key.
Again, i am not not sure how it's gonna end up for you, but in the past i never had to re-install something when the trial version expired.
I should note that i never let any software expire, i used to get the access key before the expiration date.

There should be a license key file to indicate while installing or a notepad file with a list of keys

What is in the License folder? Is it a key generator (or is the actual key given?). Or is only a file (probably a .lic file)? If it is an actual .lic file, copy that file, open up where your program is installed (on the C-drive either Program Files or Program Files (x86)), and paste the license file (from the download) to the license folder in the program.
