Probably one of the best CEO's out there.

I know a lot of people did not like his ways, but this man has Lead Apple through so much and done so much for not just the tech world.

Hopefully he is still around for a long time.

You really going to start this?
Way more than good at marketing.

Apple's products are not to your liking, but it for others it fits perfectly.

One mans trash is another mans treasure.

Marketing? Everything he touched is currently a success. Pixar is legendary for the quality of animation they produce. Apple is the most valuable company in the world. Traders and stock holders don't do business based on a company's marketing. Apple manage to completely change and even lead at least 5 different markets. Where were companies and manufacturers before iTunes, the iPod, iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Air? Competitors don't play catch up because of marketing.

Steve Jobs managed to change art and technology as we know it. Obviously not singlehandedly, but his role is undeniable. He was iconic as a leader and the CEO of Apple, for his ability to make great decisions and his attention to detail. To see him leave, especially for those who followed Apple and really cared, it's a sad day. Apple itself, and the ideology behind it, was as much a part of his creation as the products that they create. Knowing his resignation is undoubtedly due to his failing health, this news touches a lot of people.

its kind of Jack Layton passing... a great man that changed a lot, older but still appealed to the young generation, and those who care are really sad hes gone.

I would personally say Hold on to it. The markets opened today with a little more than 4$ drop, but it will probably bounce back up pretty quick.

Steve just stepped down, but still gonna advice. Hold on to them atleast till next year. I am sure he laid down a blueprint for them

But I am no professional, that is just my personal opinion.
