Student Agendas
Today, I saw a few people with plastic bags that had student agendas. Since I forget many things, I just want to know how I can get my hands on one. x.x
Thanks.

Go to the student centre, there are tables set up. There's sometimes a line, it's free for all undergraduates and it's a bag with a whiteboard-like calendar, agenda, mug, pen and some other stuff. You can pick it up over the next few days as well.

You mean flyers! While this agenda does have useful information about things on campus and off, like stores and doctors, etc., it is too cluttered with ads, so I recommend picking up a real agenda from the Titles Bookstore located in MUSC for under $10.

NO Alvand. LOL I recommend this one because (1) it's FREE (need anymore reasons? lol) and (2) the random info are important too (3) the random info can help you when classes are boring (ie things to read/doodle on/whatever)
So yeah lol
but it always depends on the kind of person you are

The swag that the maroons are giving out include, a bag of stuff (agenda, pen, coupon for a frisbee at compass, etc), a calender, a travel mug and a dry erase marker), no clipboards. IRC are giving out clipboards.

And the free clipboard will probably be delivered to you or available for pickup in your residence by your IRC (Inter-Residence Council) reps (so only the residents get those). Sometimes this doesn't happen until later in the week, but as I'm not involved with them anymore, I don't know how they're handling it nowadays.

Companies pay the MSU to place those ads in the agenda and on the wall calendar which means the MSU gets money.
Why is good for the MSU to get money? Because the MSU provides services to us, McMaster Students.
So as unsightly as you many find the ads they actually are helpful to you.
