this is the third actually, there was also a case where a man cut out his intestines and started throwing them at police officers. My practice at Nazi Zombies got me prepared for this shit tho  |

I didn't think bath salts was a new drug, or is this a new version? Anyways only the Miami guy was said to be on drugs.

It could be. It is 2012, and we're halfway done the year, so more apocalyptic articles like this will become more and more predominant. News organizations are also businesses too. Promote stories like this --> more revenue.
