Summer School
I know many people ask about summer school, but I was wondering are you allowed to take courses that are required for your degree in other universities in the summer? Also if its a pass/fail course, and you are retaking the course, will your mark for the course change?

You are allowed to take other courses at other universities but you have to make sure that the course you are taking at the other university is similar enough to the one at McMaster, you'll also have to fill out a couple of forms which can be found at your facultys office.

What if the course is already approved? Do you still have to ask? http://www.science.mcmaster. ca/ass...lop2/equiv.php Like if the course is already on this list it means we can go ahead and take it right? And will it still count towards your degree?

The only difference is you don't have to ask your faculty to check if the courses are equivalent. You still need a letter of permission and have to follow the same steps.
