yeah ok, makes sense now.. I was looking at the course guides which are for a regular term...but that makes sense.. 6 hours each week since you're doing it in 2 months vs. 4 lol...

-I'm planning on taking a 6 unit course (poli sci 1g06) in summer but have vacation planned from May 28th-June 6th which is during summer school, can I still the course even though I'll be missing that time, it's not much time but I thought I'd ask anyways

That's going to be tricky. Your vacation falls in the middle of the first term so you'll have assignments due and maybe even a midterm. You won't be able to defer a midterm for a vacation.

It's also important to consider how much material you'll be missing. 1G06 is a pretty dense course and losing 6+ hours of material is a lot. You can chance it but make sure you have some one who will give you notes.

Check the course outline as soon as it becomes available before enrolling. If you have a midterm during your vacation it might be a deal breaker.

If you want to take more than 6 units in a term or more than 12 units in the whole summer session you have to get permission from your Associate Dean.

You can apply for OSAP for summer school, correct? How and when can you do this? Thanks.

But when can you register?

I asked the science office and they said it's March 22nd.
