Supplementary Fees
Hey All,
So I know supplementary fees exist, and I'm okay with them for the most part. BUT. All my friends who are taking 30 units are paying ~$900 in fees. I however am doing co-op, which means I'm only going to be on campus from Sept- Dec, and I'm taking 15 units. My fees are $1000+. Is anyone in this situation? Can anyone shed some light on this?

Since I'm in co-op I'll be actually going to school the same as a 4yr program, but It'll take me 5 yrs. So I'm gonna get hit with extra fees if I pay $1000+ every time tuition is due.

Ideas? Who can I b*tch to.

Contact the Faculty of Science to inquire about fees and then contact Student Accounts and Cashiers if there is a discrepancy.

Edit: Scratch that, I found it for you: http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALEN...nt/pg2017.html

Co-op students do get an adjusted supplementary fee rate. But they also get charged a $600 coop fee that is included in the supp fee total...so you know...thanks, Theresa
