Switching programs in 2nd yr
Has anyone ever transferred out of chemical biology into biochemistry? Is it hard to get into biochem compulsory courses?

A couple of people have...as Rob said, if it's a mandatory course then you are guaranteed a seat once you switch. In second year chembio you are required to take all of the mandatory second year biochem courses as well (biochem 2B03+2BB3, chembio 2P03, chem/chembio 2OA3+2OB3, bio 2B03, physics if not already done, and in chembio you need bio 2C03 but you don't necessarily need to take it in second year). The only exception is biochem 2L06, so you'd do that after you switch. And since you took chembio 2AA3 in second year, you wouldn't have to take it in third year.

Although...the year hasn't started yet. If you want to do biochem instead, just go into it from the beginning.
