for an 8 person house where all 8 are online sometimes (usually at night) what kind of speed should we look in to? cogico is killing us with crappy service

I think the idea of fiber optics is great. But if you want to get a cheaper price, I heard that Teksavvy is in talks with negotiating a lower price.

I wouldn't recommend getting fibre service from Bell. The connection is of course very fast, but the bandwidth cap is ridiculously low (~30 to 60 GB a month).

It's kind of like have a super fast car with 10 meters of road to drive on :p.

i hate how companies are giving higher and higher speeds but tiny caps. come on bell, three years ago I had unlimited downloads!!!

I might go with teksavvy even though we won't have a phone line, so extra 10$/month for dry-loop dsl it is...
